Job 18

Univ Adelaide
Job 20

Job 1:2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

This is a lovely engraving of Job and his daughters:
"And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren (Job 42:15)

(The term 'Job's Daughters' is in widespread use as a title of various Masonic organizations.)

 Job 42:
12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
[13] He had also seven sons and three daughters.
[14] And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
[15] And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

From Works None of the other pictures in the Book of Job is indoors. With his two hands Job is pointing at two pictures, with another one above his head.  He is obviously a very old man.
(he was a wise old man.)

The picture shows more of the detail. What was described in the engraving as pictures on the wall appear here as contents of a cloud. (Can a picture be a representation of a dream?) Below is a blue sky; below that green terrain with sheep on each side of the daughters. Each of the three daughters is separately occupied.  They are on a sort of couch on each side of Job or at his feet.

A the corners is some sort of representation; are they dogs?

Job 42:13-16:

13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch15 Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.

16 After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
